An independent backup, looked after for you.
Scheduled backups of the cloud services you use, into storage that belongs to you alone, with every backup watched and tested.
What you get
What every backup does for you.
You choose the folders and how often. The rest works the same way for every service.
Runs on your schedule
Every few hours, daily, weekly or monthly, set separately for each backup.
Copies only what changed
After the first backup, only new and changed files are copied, so frequent schedules stay quick.
Deletions don’t carry over
When a file disappears from your account, it stays in your backup. Vaultelix only ever adds to it.
Earlier versions are kept
A changed file is stored alongside its previous copy, not written over it.
Your folders, as you left them
Folder structure is preserved. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are saved as .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files you can open anywhere.
Several sources, one place
Drive for the office, Dropbox for the design team, a NAS in the back room. Each on its own schedule, all in your storage.
Restores
Getting files back is one email.
Tell us what you need. It comes back as a private download link, straight to you.
One file
Found and sent quickly
A single document someone deleted or overwrote, back in your hands without touching your account.
A folder or more
Everything you need, in one download
For larger restores we package everything together, so it arrives as a single download.
Monitoring
We check the backup, not just the schedule.
A job that finishes without errors doesn’t prove anything useful was saved. These checks run for every client, in the background.
Regular restore tests
We regularly test that files can actually be restored from your backup, not just that a job ran.
Access checks
If a folder stops being shared or access is removed, we notice, so a broken backup never passes for a quiet one.
Storage checks
We routinely confirm your backup storage is intact and encrypted.
We tell you when it needs you
If something on your side needs fixing, such as a sharing setting that changed, we get in touch.
Good to know
Worth knowing before you start.
Backups run on a schedule
Not continuously. Choose a schedule that matches how often your files change.
Restores come to you as a download
Nothing is written back into your cloud account, so nothing there is overwritten.
A few items aren’t ordinary files
Shortcuts, Google Forms and OneNote notebooks, for example, can’t be copied as files. Ask us if you’re unsure about yours.
Tell us what you’d like backed up.
A list of the services you use and a rough idea of how much data is involved is enough to start. We’ll reply with how setup would work for you.
